new starts and other things

My very first spiderweb quilt square!! It's very fun and will be a nice challenge to have a long term project.
My first disappearing 9 patch! Love the orange.:)
My first bento box squares! GOING TO LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!!:):):)

And and update. I put binding on my book cover. LIKE it MUCH better!!!

  2. love love love that bento box!! I can't wait to see it finished! Your spider web is going to be really cute, too. Isn't string piecing addicting? I always have at least one or two string projects going (just started a new one last night) ~ its great for those times you want to sit and sew, but don't want to concentrate too much! :)

  4. aren't spiderweb blocks just the greatest? and a great scrap buster too. I have one in progess and work on it when I just have little bits of time to sneak up to the sewing room

  10. I'm late in joining your blog, but I just found this post about your disappearing 9 patch. I just started one of these and have pictures on my blog. I'm trying to decide if I want to keep the 9 patches together or mix them all up. I also don't know if I want to use the same fabric as the center square for each one. What do you think??
