staying on task

i have to stay on task so that i can get everything done by sunday when we leave for vacation. this quilt is for my nephew and his soon to be wife. i hope they like it. as you can see it's pinned and ready to go. i'm going to start that today.
just thought you'd like to know that pete doesn't seemed to stressed today!:) i just LOVED it!!! he likes my 9 patch also!:)

  1. i love to see a beautiful quilt being used...by cats, children, husbands...anyone. i have no doubt that your nephew and wife will love that quilt...how could they not?

  2. Looks like you will get that quilt for nephew and wife-to-be ready in plenty of time.....it's only Tuesday!!! Good job! What a life! That's what my hubby says when he sees our Nico all stretched out like that! They are so cute and they do love comfy quilts. I have been thinking of making one just for him!!! Soon as I find dachshund fabric!

  10. Basting quilts is such hard work, especially for what looks like such a large quilt. Pete's smart and taken the easy option. Very Cute!

  12. I'm a cat lover and I thought that was adorable watching your cat on the quilt. I have one machine in my bedroom and one in the living room. When I'm in the bedroom, my cat, Chief Red Cloud, thinks he is small enough to laydown and stretch out, but he isn't (he is part Maine Coon, and now weighs 20lbs and is 9 yrs old). I love seeing your quilts and all your animals
