I'm so happy I went with the zigzag! I LOVE this quilt. My guess is I will try to sell it because I don't need it but I sure do love it!!! It will be a baby size. Well, what I consider baby size.:) I followed amandajean's tutorial. It was easy and fun!! She is a fantastic teacher. I feel blessed to have had her teach me. If you are looking for a get away she is going to be the speaker in CO in November. I think there are some spots left. If you are interested you can check out her blog here.
This is adorable. Can you tell me who makes that elephant fabric? I would love to find some like that and our quilt shop does not carry any with elephants on it!
ReplyDeleteWOWEE! That was quick to come together! I loved Amandajean's and I love yours too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely job you've done, it's such a cute quilt with the elephants on the back!! Amandajean's fantastic, I've taken her tutorial too and made a girl's baby quilt.

ReplyDeleteSuper cute. I have a stack of Nest pulled for a zig zag that has been sitting for a few weeks now. I should get on it!
ReplyDeletelove your zigzag. i'm working on one now too and hope to finish soon.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! I have been dying to try that pattern too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! and reminds me that I want to make that pattern too.
ReplyDeleteI just cut strips for a zigzag baby quilt using her tutorial too! I'm using blues and greens, without the alternating solid stripe. I hope it won't be too busy. Only 3 hours?? Wow! I hope to get a good start during the entire afternoon!
