  2. It looks great! You just inspired me to spend the evening my sewing room, doing some organizing that I didn't do during what was going to be the Great Space Clean-Up of 2009 and is now the GSCU of 2010 instead.

  4. That is so funny!! I love seeing others messes (I know I'm weird), but it makes me feel good that I'm not the only one!

Something about the new year makes me want to clean EVERYTHING. I even cleaned out the fridge :)

  5. It happens, don't be too hard on yourself. I think everyone has gone through that at some point.

  8. I think sewing is one of the messiest hobbies there is! One project just sends me over the edge into total chaos! Great job!

  13. Oh, I would be ashamed to post pics of my sewing room at this point. I can barely get in the door. It's bad. I need to get organized, because it IS getting to the point where it's hard to work. I never want to take the time, though, to clean. Gotta keep quilting! Your room looks great!

  14. I could never have posted pics of my "space" you are brave and I salute you. My hubby says that if a work space is clean then you're not working hard enough! Now if you'll excuse me I need to go clean up...

  15. Your post makes me feel soooo much better about my room! My husband is searching for a verrrryyyy large armoire to "hide" all of my stuff in - because my sewing room is in the middle of the house - I took over the dining room and made it mine =)

  16. I almost always (how's that for a qualification?) take time to clean up after I finish a quilt. Just finished a quilted tablecloth a day or so ago so tidied up, put away leftover scraps, etc. but didn't vac or sweep the floor before starting a new project. When you use wastebaskets (I have THREE in my quilt studio), why do so many little pieces of fabric, threads, and fuzz accumulate on the floor? It's a mystery.

You really did a bang-up cleaning job!

  19. Oh...that makes me feel better. I went to The Container Store this weekend and took advantage of the Elfa storage system sale. Now I have a place for everything. Now I've got to get it there.
