the backing is my pottery barn duvet that i knew i wouldn't use anymore. it's soft and WONDERFUL!!!! so very pretty to me!!
and how can you go wrong with flea market fancy fabric????? i LOVE that pink!!! i still have about a half a yard left and i think i will now start to savor it some. it's VERY hard for me to run out of the fabrics i LOVE.
as always thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. i LOVE hearing from you. you guys are tooooooo kind!! :) have a fantastic weekend. i started two more quilts i can't wait to share. :)
wow, love this quilt, and love that flea market fancy
ReplyDeleteI love this too, and the back goes so well with the front...very pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe backing fabric is gorgeous. I so love florals and it is a nice contrast to the 'business' of the front.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all of the lovely quilts that you complete. It's all eye candy for me! I understand about not wanting to use up the last of a favorite fabric. You just know you will want to use it again some other time and won't have it :-)
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt...especially the back!
ReplyDeleteI can see why you love this quilt. It is just beautiful and pink is my fave!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! I love that you used an old duvet for the back. Very clever.

ReplyDeleteSo pretty.
ReplyDeleteAnd such an intricate pattern.
Gorgeous.
I recognized the backing, because I bought the same duvet cover at a garage sale last year, thinking it would make a great quilt back. Too funny! (No, I haven't used mine yet. Someday!)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I just finished your wonky log cabin block. It is so pretty, but now I have to wait for sunshine to photograph it!
ReplyDeleteThose pop beads are adorable!! Love the fabrics!! Wow!
ReplyDeleteHi Heather!
