I just used scraps of what I had left over from my quilt and sewed a strip together. Then I had 1/2 yard left of one fabric and cut 1" strips for a binding affect. I used this look last time I made curtains. But I figure I liked them so why not just change a few things around. If it's not broke don't fix it right?:)
Love your curtains. That's one of my favorite fabrics. I made three quilts out of it.
ReplyDeleteI love your curtains! This is a perfect post bc I still need to hang curtains in my kitchen window and laundry room. How did you do the top of the curtains? I don't remember how I stumbled upon your blog, but I've enjoyed reading it!

i'm in the same camp as you, if it's not broke, don't fix it. :) i'm going to do that for my pillow shams. yay!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the curtains! This may be the inspiration that I needed to do something with the huge white shower curtain that's drably hanging in our bathroom. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteBy the way... it may say that Barry O'Connor left the above comment as well as this one, but I assure you my husband is not reading quilting blogs. I'm just having trouble signing out of his google account. Sorry!
