Open for business:)

I helped a friend out with some of her quilts and she made the sign for me that said Heather's Sweatshop. It's a joke around our house that I have a sweatshop downstairs. I just need workers now!:) This is the front and back of Marilyn's quilt. I can't wait to give it to her at church tomorrow. She doesn't know that I made it for her so I hope she likes it. I knew she needed a quilt when she sent me a thank you note and told me how blessed she was to see someone else get a quilt. She was sooooo sweet!!
I do love how crinkly a quilt gets after washed and dried. I had some puckers on the back and this drying process helps to hide my mistakes!:) For that I am thankful.

And this is Ruby who couldn't get comfortable last night after coming home from the vets. She got fixed. We love her but don't want a bunch of her running around someday. She was miserable. I love how the vet said she needs to stay quiet for 14 day!! She's a carin terrior. Terriors AREN'T quiet! Not that she barks she's just active!!:) We'll see how this goes. I'll have to take a picture of her climbing over the baby gate we have up for her:):) No joke.

  1. Awe that quilt is so pretty and poor baby. I remember when our dog got fixed. He ended up having to have a cone around his head and boy did he not like that. She should be fine in a few days. Cute dog!!

  2. What a beautiful quilt! We also had our dog fixed, and he was blissfully unaware for about 2 weeks, until he went to the dog park. Poor guy. Hope your pretty pup is handling it well :)
