I finished my quilt top for our bed!! I actually finished it a couple weeks ago and realized I haven't blogged about it. I am waiting for the backing to come in. I hope this week. My wonderful husband gave me a gift certificate (for christmans) to my FAVORITE quilt shop and was able to get all this fabric. My room has a red quilt right now so I think this will be my fall and winter quilt and the red will be the spring and summer. Hope you have a GREAT day!
Hey there,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by my blog the other day! I have to ask how did you start to learn about quilting? It is on my list of things to learn before I die. :) I think it would be fun, but I actually don't have a lot of "creative" talent outside of my scrapbooks I work on occaisionally! Anyway, I love your quilts, they are beautiful!
what a beautiful quilt. i love the colors. I have always wanted to make a quilt for myself but am intimidated by the size it would have to be and by knowing i would have to quilt it. i have mostly made lap or baby quilts.
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt! Doesn't it feel good to complete a project and love it?
ReplyDeletei can't wait to see it stippled!!!
ReplyDeleteHi!! Nice quilt!!Lucky you- having crazy mom as teacher!!I follow her blog from Norway, and now I can foolow your too!! Quiltefia
ReplyDeleteIt looks fantastic. Any man that gives the gift of fiber is a keeper.
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt top! It looks so cozy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on my curvy tablerunner on the b&w challenge blog. I was working on it tonight and had some machine issues - it's going to the shop tomorrow. I hope it's a quick and easy fix (especially since I've only had the machine 2 months).
I love it! I was just over on Crazy Mom's and saw the Whirlygig quilt you both finihsed. You are amazing. I saw you stopped by my blog the other day and wanted to thank you. It was really nice of you. Can't wait to see what you are working on next!
ReplyDeleteI love the color palette. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteHello and nice to meet you! I found your through Crazy mom's blog. I have added you to my blog list because we have lots of similarities.
ReplyDeleteWe both love fabric, especially American Jane! We can't resist new fabric & projects because they always call our name. I think that this is why they call it an addiction!
Anyway, nice to meet you and I'll be checking on you.
Hi Heather, What a pretty quilt for your bed, and I have to say I love your stippling work on the whirlygiggle quilt you and Amanda made. That's one thing I want to learn to do (machine stipple). Keep up the great work and have fun!!!
