no more spiderweb for me:)

I'm going to scrap the spiderweb quilt that I was working on (if you can say one complete square was working on) and do this new strips quilt. I LOVE IT!!!!! I'm going to finish stippling the third graduation quilt and reward myself with some time to work on this for a day and then start stippling my last graduation quilt.
I have loved making these quilts but I will be happy when I don't HAVE to do something. I can just do it because I want to and for fun!!
This quilt was inspired by this quilt!!! Isn't it GORGEOUS!!!!!!!

  5. I loved that inspiration quilt also, but I'm not crazy enough to attempt one yet! :) Yours is beautiful as well. What is the plan with your ONE block if not a quilt?

  7. I LOVE string quilts!! The blocks make up so quickly. I love that you can lay them out a million different ways and never get the same effect! Can't wait to see how this one turns out. I posted a pic of one on my blog that I recently did. Go ck it out too and let me know what you think. Good job! Jenn

Oh and I am more behind than you on my 9 patches so don't feel bad. I haven't had my sewing machine out for a week or so. Trying to get my garden planted!

I have some mini string blocks going right now. Not sure how I'm going to use them, but they are so great to push through the machine when you want to do some mindless sewing! :)
