I thought I would try to post a few of the things I've been working on the last week or so. It's crazy around here. My husband just went on a fun weekend this morning I was subbing and got a call that my son fainted at school. So I'm home now. He said I could post quick and then spend the rest of the time with him.
This is going to be the back of the oh cherry oh quilt. It was a duvet that I got at our second hand store. So I have one more side to use!!! I'm soooo excited!
This is the start of my wee play quiltl. I'm doing it in the candy bar road pattern. I have it all cut out now I just need to be able to sew it together. Maybe tomorrow? Who knows. Hope your day is going well!!
i hope your son is ok....that's scary. and don't things like that seem to happen when your husband is out of town???
ReplyDeletei LOVE both quilts!!! the duvet will be PERFECT on the back of that oh cherry oh quilt. i can't wait to see more of the wee play candy bar road. (I still think you should make one king size!!)
Those both look like great starts! I have a wee play charm pack that I should break out. I hope your son is feeling better soon - we're on day 3 of sick boys here.
ReplyDeletethat wee play quilt is going to be AMAZING!!! hope your son is feeling better
ReplyDeleteHope your son is feeling better now. I like the cherry material and really like the wee play one.
ReplyDeleteWow, your second hand store sells nice-looking fabric! Here, the cherries would have been faded and the background rather off-white ;)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy finishing that beauty!
Cheers,
Christine
