oh cherry oh!!

I thought I would try to post a few of the things I've been working on the last week or so. It's crazy around here. My husband just went on a fun weekend this morning I was subbing and got a call that my son fainted at school. So I'm home now. He said I could post quick and then spend the rest of the time with him.
This is going to be the back of the oh cherry oh quilt. It was a duvet that I got at our second hand store. So I have one more side to use!!! I'm soooo excited!
This is the start of my wee play quiltl. I'm doing it in the candy bar road pattern. I have it all cut out now I just need to be able to sew it together. Maybe tomorrow? Who knows. Hope your day is going well!!

  5. Wow, your second hand store sells nice-looking fabric! Here, the cherries would have been faded and the background rather off-white ;)

    Enjoy finishing that beauty!

    Cheers,

  12. I sure hope your son is doing ok today, what a scare. Cherries on fabric are so fun, they bring a sense of nostalgia for some reason. Lovin' the colours and your awesome talent! Hugs, Heather
