This is the third graduation quilt I'm working on. It is a very fun challange!! I have never worked with black's or grey's before but it's turning out to be fun. When I was at the fabric shack I got a good amount of these fabrics there to really make this quilt better. I have some wild prints but I think will help this quilt. I only have 16 block done so far. I need 70. I have just a few more to do!:) I'm going to need more fabric so hopefully I will have enough in my stash to add more. I should.
This big red polka dot is one of my favorites!!! I should have got two fat quarters at the fabric shack but I only bought one. Oh well.
It's my hubby's day off so the only time I will get downstairs today is if he naps.:) He loves a Monday nap!:) Hope you have a GREAT day!! I also forgot to mention that I saw this pattern on a floor in a rest stop and thought it would be a good quilt. Pretty fun huh?
Very Cute! how did you get committed to so many graduation quilts?? You are amazing!

ReplyDeleteisn't it funny how when you start making quilts you see them everywhere...i had planned on starting hexagons and then this week at the National zoo i was looking at the pavers on the path and realized that they were hexagons too...and all i saw was quilt, quilt, quilt
