well...

this is my block. no turning back. i put the red circle in the corner and i'm going to see if my mom has a serger and i could serger it real quick. i just wanted to give the idea of what i was doing. this block is crazy!!!! i don't do circles yet so this has been a WAY bigger stretch than i wanted but it's done!:) i'm cracking up though that this is what i came up with and it took me ALL month. usually i finish these in a few days. NOT this time.:) stretching is good i know this - i just don't love it.

  2. I too like it....I have an old quilt made out of red and blue circles that way...alot of them were hand stitched.

  3. first time, really? it looks great! I'm still working on curved piecing, I do most of my circles with applique, so I totally applaud the effort!

  5. Your fabric placement is so pleasing to the eye. (Gotta admit that's my weak point; I have a lot of trouble with fabric selection . . . no confidence at all!)

  11. starting with such a small circle is hard... had you started with a larger circle say a 12.5" block or a 15" it would have been much much easier... eliza's Back porch templates come in a bunch of sizes.
that red dot is way cute!
